I work with some of the most passionate people I have ever met, as a special education teacher and as an ABA therapist. Their dedication to supporting students with special needs and their families just amazes me!
That’s why I’m always looking for great visuals to pass on to my colleagues and parents. Recently, I came across a website that has over 50 charts, schedules, activity cards, communication and behavioral cue cards, self-management visuals and emotional/behavioral cards that are ready to be downloaded. They are colorful and professionally made.
If your back seat is full of materials and you travel from student to student, you know the importance of being organized and prepared for any situation. This goes for visual supports, too! Make sure you have plenty of common cards and behavioral supports ready to go. Mine are stored in an awesome organizational system that keeps them organized according to my specific needs and is so lightweight and portable – it takes up less room than many of my games. Plus, the secure latch means that even if it rolls around back there (sound familiar?), everything inside stays perfectly in place.
So, if you want some great visuals, go to www.victoriesnautism.com. A special thanks to Laura Molleur, BCBA.
And, if you want an amazing organizational storage system for all of your visual supports, check out the Success Box. With each purchase, you are providing an autistic adult with meaningful employment. See our full story on our website.
